Friends of the Huntington Library

A new Friends of the Huntington Public Library group is forming. We are in the process of establishing a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to support the library’s special programs and purchases through fundraising and advocacy. We hope to get the community involved, and we will need as much help as you are willing to give! Watch for updates on the library’s website and on Front Porch Forum. If you are interested in helping out, or would like some more information, feel free to email the Friends at

Hatha Yoga Class

Thursdays from 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm

Celebrate Thursdays with a slow but empowering yoga class suitable for all levels of experience. We will focus on alignment of postures, while being mindful of body, breath, and mind. The practice of yoga is the perfect way to reset yourself in the season of renewal!

Classes will be taught by Huntington resident Tania Dornic . Tania is a certified and registered yoga teacher, who received her 200 HR RYT training in April 2015. She has taught classes locally at Balance Yoga Studio in Richmond, as well as at the Lund Family Center in Burlington through Sangha Studio’s yoga service program. Classes are $10 each, with $1 of that fee for the Huntington Public Library. While classes are drop-in, it would be helpful to know ahead of time how many plan to attend. You can contact Tania with any questions, or to let her know you are coming, on 802-355-4013 (call or text).
