Book Dedications

Dedicating a book is a wonderful way to honor a family member or member of the community. A book with a dedication includes a special bookplate which will remain in place as long as the book is part of our collection. Books may be dedicated…

  • In honor of…
  • In memory of..
  • In appreciation of library volunteer service (these are chosen by library staff or board members)

We also have a special “baby book” dedication program, supported by the Friends of the Huntington Library, that has been part of Huntington for over 20 years! Read more about our programs for babies and kids.

How does it work?

Contact Anne or Stacey at the Library if you are interested in dedicating a book.

We have a variety of books to choose from, and always welcome suggestions. The book with its dedicated bookplate will become part of our permanent collection.
